SMALL AVALANCHES 

Linda is 12 and she is bored. It seems to her that nothing matters and nothing ever really happens. But on this day she meets an older man. Linda is amused, even exhilarated by their seemingly innocent encounter. But things take a disturbing turn, and Linda's world is transformed forever. Based on a short story by Joyce Carol Oates.

The fIlm won in the categroy Best Short Film at the 2004 Art Film Festival, at the 2004 Bratislava Art Film Festival for Best Short Fiction Film and at the 2003 Edinburgh International Film Festival, where it won Prix UIP Edinburgh (European Short Film Award).
